The Xnote stopwatch has many exciting features like digital display, customization of displayed time, multiple stopwatches etc.
The user can have multiple stopwatches with independent settings. A warning signal in the timer specifies the expiry of the time that is set by the user. The alarm sound can be configured by playing mp3 of user’s choice. The font and the settings of the timer can be changed according to the preference of the user. Presence of external control through serial Com (RS-232) port helps in behaving as a stop-watch, as on/off switch and even read RFID-tag reader. This feature enhances the product functionalities and usage. The stopwatch time format can be customized based on one’s preference.
Xnote stopwatch works under low system configuration and works only in Windows 2000/XP/Vista. It falls under “try and buy” category and the product is evolving. Its license costs $24.00 which I feel is little on the higher side. On the whole this product sure has a growing market with the promise of additional features.
